Christina met Kosta while vacationing in Sifnos. They had an instant connection and a long distance relationship while they were talking everyday until their wedding ceremony in the same island. Christina envisioned a fairytale/romantic wedding with fireworks and on the water. They wanted to be as traditional as possible while still having their wedding during tourist season. The color palette was silver and blush colors. Their unique decor were silver colored vases that they found at the different flea market shops in Monastiraki. These were used for the flower vases at the tables. They also put together a scrapbook for guests to take instant photos and write messages in.

There were so many moments of  the wedding that were amazing. Christina loved riding in the Cadillac with her sisters to the church. She arrived to the reception with Kosta on the boat while the fireworks were exploding above them. It was special to have their parents, grandparents, relatives, and friends from all over to celebrate with them.

The bridal bouquet was made to keep in tradition with her yiayia, mother’s, and sister’s bouquets. It was a cascading bouquet with white flowers. The bridesmaids carried pink stargazer lily bouquets. The gown was Hayley Paige with a crystal and moonstone bodice, and a horsehair skirt – very princess-y. Christina wore it with a Maria Elena headpiece. Their wedding favor was traditional bombonieres in a white fabric with silver rope. They had some flaros made for out-of-town guests, however, they forgot to hand them out! Cake was from Gerontopoulos Bakery. It had a white frosting with pink flowers on top, and tasted delicious.
